hey guys -
i just wanted to say that it seems to me, joel, that you very succinctly explained why the US economy is currently tanking when you brought up the point about the effect the “idea” of star wars had on the Russian economy. right now the US is throwing good money after bad into defense just like the Russians did when they thought the US had effective star wars technology. & just like the star wars stuff was make believe, so were the wmds that sent us hurtling into the current mess in Iraq.
